Another year older today....thought I'd treat myself to some Opera. :D (This is a clip from a movie that is an old family favorite of ours. OOOH, did I use the word, Old?! ;p)
happy happy birthday!! & thanks for the opera...i may have to add 'the fifth element' to my netflix list :-)
happy birthday, hgf! hope it's just wonderful :)
A belated Happy Birthday Cousin with apologies.
A belated "Happy Birthday To You" & Buon compleanno! HGF - 21 again methinks?I'm not a great opera fan - though we did go through to Edinburgh a couple of years ago to watch La Traviata. I definitely couldn't have watched that film if you'd paid me - too spooky - all those things hanging out of her head remind me of worms/snakes- hsssssssssssssssss.I'd should take more interest in this opera, considering it's based on Sir Walter Scott's "The Bride of Lammermoor" - but I'm definitely not as cultured as you my dear! I hope you had a wonderful birthday and enjoyed every moment of your opera.
Happy birthday HGF! What's the secret of your youthfulness?!
