The Gael

Well, I'm heading back to some old stomping grounds, in Pennsylvania, to say a final farewell to my grandfather. He made it to 93yrs, his grandfather made it to 95yrs, and was always joking about sticking around to receive a letter from the Queen. :)

It will be tears, laughter and many a toast; a life well completed, and an example to us all! :)

I'm sorry that you lost your grandfather, HGF, and hope the service sustained you, as well as the memories you'll have of him. Beautiful posting with great sadness attached.

Thank you, both. I have lots of good memories; he lived a good life, and it was time...it's just the thought that I can't pick up the phone anymore to say hello that makes it difficult. Thank you, again! :)

In my fog of emotion, my memory was a bit clouded. My grand was actually 94yrs and his grand made it to 97yrs.

I’m saddened to learn (belatedly) of the death of your grandfather. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today.
Hugs and blessings,
