Play me the Blues

Trying to edit and erased the original video/photo link, so here's the YouTube link: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=wqc209-rwNI

Two men who had much in their lives 'against them' you could say. Thankfully for us, they were men of character and heart; and, they followed their dreams!

"What we play is life."
-Louis Armstrong

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space."
-Johnny Cash

Well that was fun! Thanks for sharing this duo's performance. I love the quotes and think I'll add them to my collection.
Hugs and blessings,

Thanks for this HGF. Got me thinking about Satchmo and my dad (not that they ever met or anything!) Anyway, it generated happy thoughts and inspired my entry for today. Thanks again!

I like your blog; wow, you have a story there!!! Bless you!!! I'll be back to comment!! :)))

Hi Scots,
Blues is an everyonce in a while, listen, usually Satchmo, or a CD from a street musician from when I was in the Big Easy for Mardi Gras a few years back (phew, Bourbon Street, what a strange event, let me tell you!!! glad I had the hubby there as an escort!!)

Hi ER,
I'm glad for the happy thoughts!! Will have a look over at your place!
