A wave is but many drops of water...

Photograpy credit: Clark Little, Oahu, Hawaii

“Too often we underestimate the power of

A touch,

A smile,

A kind word,

A listening ear,

An honest compliment,

Or the smallest act of caring,

All of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

-Leo Buscaglia

I like these thoughts for when I feel overwhelmed that it's hard to make a difference. All boils down to the 'sphere of influence' as far as helping to change for the better, and to retain some hope that things/people can be improved/helped.
