A windy, cold spring morning found us out and about amongst the Poppies. We had a good rain this year so the flowers are better than they've been in a while. And, we had to try out the new camara. TB's blog has a detailed, close up photo and an interesting pondering of life.

The photo's are fab, poppies are a favourite flower of mine. What's the camera, I had a dinky Sony Cybershot for my birthday, we already have a Minolta Dimage A1 but it's soooo not pocket sized.
Uh, a mid-priced fancy one...Yes, I was there when he bought it...wait, let me go look...(really, I'm not blonde). ;D
...a Canon Digital Rebel XTi. It was a lot of fun to use. He's talking about getting the various lenses, etc.
This is a lovely shot. I love poppies.
