Aye - I know what you mean. Our daughter was 17 the other day, and you start to realise how quickly the years have passed, how quickly she is growing up and how soon she will (probably) fly off on her own. All too soon!
I remember when my December son moved in to his own flat (January son had already flown the nest). Hubby came home from work that evening and I was standing crying at the kitchen sink because the house was feeling so empty (and so was I). Would I have them back to stay tomorrow - not on your nellie! xx
I'm old enough to know better, and young enough not to care! 20th wedding anniv. around the corner, three kids and a gaggle of animals to keep me busy. Life's good!
