Hello there, thanks for visiting my blog and leaving your kind comments.

Welcome to blogging - I hope you enjoy it as much as I have done. It's a great place for inspiration and for sharing.

Love the photo by the way - how lucky to be visited by such a gentle and beautiful creature.

Hi and welcome!

sorry for my absence and thank you for your posts! I've been working 12 hr shifts, and some overtime, and inbetween having to tend to my 13yr old son, who broke his arm (not bad thankfully) during his footie/soccer practice.

I wish I could take credit for the photo, but alas! My husband gets credit for that one!! :)

Hope you're both enjoying your day, and will hopefully 'chat' soon! (I like this blogging thing!)

We had an interesting visitor today (see my blog).

By the way, thanks for your comments - I'll follow the links etc.

Sounds like you come from this part of the world? Am I right, or meringue?

Hello E.R. (interesting name, btw...I can relate)
...and thanks for visiting here.

you're not meringue, although I can see how you would be misled. I'm quite 'Americana' (and contrary to rumour, I know my geography, tho my spelling may differ from ya'lls on occasion! ;)))
A brief explanation...my father and his family were from the UK (Eng/Sco),(via Argentina), and my gran wanted to make sure her darling wasn't too American, thus the familiarity with the culture across the pond. ;)
(My gran spoke only 'proper' so I've picked up the (written)Scots from a friend of mine. I find the language interesting in its various expressions.)

I like your Dragonfly photo...the complexity of God's creatures is amazing!

I love this photo! I'm drinking my morning coffee from a blue mug (given me by a dear friend who recognizes I'm in "transition" and reminds me often it's a good thing even if scary) inscribed with the thought, "Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.

Maybe it's time to change my screen saver from Stonehenge to Butterflies?
Hugs and blessings,
