Life's merry-go-round
Busy day with guests tomorrow, so I wanted to have at least one more post for my thoughts. As the kiddies have grown older, it's been so fun to see their personalities and characters developing, or should we say, evolving. They've had certain personality traits and aptitudes since day one, so I find it very interesting to see what they're drawn with regard to interests and career potential.
I often think of the road I've taken, and the road I might have taken were things a bit different with regard to choices made in my early Uni days, for good and bad. Perhaps in a cosmic way, Lucy and I connected, because she only just recently wrote a poem on her reflections. I draw attention to Lucy, her above photo, and her poem, People Watching.

Lucy write a very lovely verse with great thought and expression - just like her mammy!
Hey HGF - does everyone in your home have a blog? Great idea.
Hi Mrs S,
sorry if my writing was a bit confusing...I was sort of in a hurry, and expecting company.
Lucy is a friend that I met via blog-land, such as yoursel. She expresses/writes much of what I do feel, actually. Perhaps kindred spirits! :)
We met in RL, this July up in Washington State where she lives. (and hopefully will get to do the same with you and yours someday!!! :))
Only hubby, Talking bear, at SleepyBearHollow, has a blog. My eldest daughter has sort of started one, but it's school related for webdesign, graphics, not so much for chat. :)
thanks for the "press". i'm always happy to know someone wants to share my work (including the photos ...even though they're not award-winning i do love the credit :-)
hope you're off to a good beginning to the school year. my youngest starts tomorrow.
Hi Lucy,
I really did like your poem; and, I must have been tired/distracted; I meant to direct readers to not only your poem, but that lovely carousel of yours, now done. :)
I remember now HGF - I visited Lucy's blog after you met and left a message telling her about a friend I met here locally in much the same way as you. I don't know why I thought she was your daughter. She writes a thought-provoking blog just like you and I'll need to bookmark her this time. xx
