Good Friday Thoughts
Although my first entry this morning was thoughts on Friday fun...I do not want to take away from the solemness of the this day. I found a beautiful song sung by Karen Matheson of Capercaille; however, YouTube has not been cooperating of late, to get music vids posted. Thus the link to this song:
Green Waves
"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse."
Romans 2:20
"Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were born,...even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God...so teach us to number our days, that we may present to Thee a heart of wisdom...Do return, O Lord; how long will it be?...And let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; And do confirm for us the work of our hands; Yes, do confirm the work of our hands."
-Psalm 90
"For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
-John 3:16

I loved the song - and the video was brilliant. The motif of transformation seems so apt for Easter.
Hi ER,
her voice is incredible isn't it?!
you've just reminded me of the verse..'transforming by the renewing our our minds'...will have to go look that up, now where was that!! :)
Lucy had a good quote on her Creates blog; about seeing fully what was before seen in fragments.
John 3:16. What a promise! Thanks for sharing.
